They were always the same thing described at different scales. ====================================================================== THE MEASUREMENT PROBLEM DISSOLVES ====================================================================== The measurement problem in QM: - Superposition: particle is in multiple states - Measurement: collapses to one state - "What causes collapse?" — unanswered in standard QM In the field framework: - Superposition = field in undetermined state (multiple amplitudes) - Measurement = information resolves (field state becomes definite) - Collapse = the field's state becomes determined by interaction The axiom: information cannot be lost. - Before measurement: information is spread across field states - During measurement: information concentrates (resolves) - After measurement: information is definite (one state) This is not "collapse." Where does the arrow come from?
